Ohmex Ltd , located within the New Forest area, near to Southampton, one of the largest ports in the world. Established in April 2000 Ohmex is primarily a manufacturer and distributor of equipment involved in Environmental Science applications such as Environmental Data collection and Land/Hydrographic surveying systems .

SonarMite System
The new technology echo sounder using Bluetooth wireless communication to an external PDA or PC running the application software. The SonarMite incorporates depth, heave, pitch and roll in a single instrument, the device is an example of the new WinStrumentation concept from Ohmex

TideM8 System
The TidaLite is a low cost portable Tide Gauge device with a specification designed for use in hydrographic, oceanographic and dredging applications.

SonarM8 System
The SonarM8 is a variant of the SonarMite echo sounder designed for semi-permanent installation in a survey boat. The main differences between the devices being the SonarM8 is smaller and does not contain internal batteries. Internally the SonarM8 includes a regulator that accepts a wide range of DC input voltages ranging from 7 to 32 volts.

HydroLite System
The HydroLite is a complete system that has been designed as a solution to meet the needs of inshore and shallow water hydrographic surveys utilizing readily available equipment.

Sonar XP Software
For most small boat applications the SonarXP software provides a complete solution that lets the user combine Depth, Position and Tide data to produce a processed final survey data set.
